My mother told me that her friend stopped eating foods with sugar(everything) and started to drink just water, lost about 80lbs. I was wondering if it was true because i want to lose some weight.

I am trying to lose between 20-30 lbs and so I drink about 80 oz of water a day (along with my diet and exercise) but I feel like all I am losing is water weight so if I stop drinking all that water will I start losing fat instead of water?
Is your diet requiring lot of water? If your diet is not increasing your metablism, drinking a lot of water is not going to help much. ok, so i’ve heard just now that drinking lots of water will help you lose weight? like iono, 10 glasses of water a day will help you drop weight super fast… is that really true?? ive never tried it.
Yes drinking water will help you lose weight and if you drink ice water you burn more calories because your body has to work harder .

I heard water makes you lose weight and I’m trying to lose weight quick. As i am 5’8 150 lbs. How much water should i drink a day to help me lose weight? Thanks.
It won’t actually make you lose weight, but getting 8-12 cups of water a day will help your body and your digestive system run more smoothly, it will help flush any junk out of your body and detoxify, and if you are burning fat it will help flush the waste products from that out of your system.
So yeah. 8-12 cups a day, or roughly 2-3 litres.

I know that wrestlers will often spit to lose the excess water weight but if i’m still drinking water will this cancel it out?? Help =)

I am guessing you want to lose fat. Spitting will not help you get the body you want
